Calling All Farmers Needing a Will

The Queensland Government has created a Farm Management Grant. The Grant assists farmers and their families with the costs of estate planning.

The Grant is available for the costs of seeking advice about estate planning from professionals such as lawyers, accountants or succession advisors. Rebates are available of up to 50% off professional fees to a maximum of $2,500.

Our previous article, ‘The Farmer Wants a Will’, provides more information about eligibility requirements. Find out how to apply by going to the Farm Management Grants page on the Queensland Rural and Industry Development website.

So for all the farmers out there who’ve been putting off their estate planning, there’s no better time to grab the bull by the horns and get advice before the Grant ends on 30 June 2019.

Contact our Wills and Estates team today to discuss your estate planning.
