Keith is a Consultant at Bennett & Philp Lawyers and a member of our Business Advisory team.

Keith spent 35 years as a partner of John Nagel & Co before merging with and joining the Bennett & Philp team in 2019.

Since joining Bennett and Philp, Keith’s practice has concentrated on succession law, applying his knowledge of commercial law and family law in the process.

Keith’s extensive experience enables him to act in both simple and complex estate matters.  Keith finds special interest in complex succession plans, developing strategies to deal with the future control of family trusts and identifying and addressing potential challenges to Wills.  Keith advises in the intricacies of superannuation disposition, and preparing of Enduring Powers of Attorney, including those containing complex authority provisions.

In undertaking deceased estate administration, Keith’s experience enables him to appreciate the special nature of modern families and provide effective advice to executors and beneficiaries.  Keith derives great satisfaction assisting families to undertake a smooth transition of their loved one’s estate with a focus on amicable resolution of disputes, where possible.
